No Appetite for Apartheid Next Step:

Campaign for a Bylaw Amendment at City Market

Join our campaign for an amendment to City Market Onion River Co-op’s bylaws to un-shelve Israeli products from their shelves. Members have the power to propose and bring such amendments to a vote. Our strategy is twofold:

1. Collect (in person) member signatures for an amendment, that would give members the power to propose and vote on a co-op-wide boycott.

2. Put "product of Israel" products through that bylaw amendment process, in order to un-shelve them from the co-op.

We are currently on step 1, and need about 700 signatures on paper from members in order to bring this bylaw amendment to a vote!

If you are a member who believes not only in the importance of putting economic pressure on Israel to stop its colonization of Palestine, stop in at one of the times and locations listed below, to sign the petition! If you believe in expanding the democratic power that members have at the co-op, stop in at one of the times and locations listed below, to sign the petition!

We will be wearing keffiyehs to help you know who to approach. Please have your member number handy when you arrive.
