The Montgomery Center for the Arts is co-sponsoring two of the films, a Palestinian art exhibit and tatreez (Palestinian embroidery) workshop. More info on those to come soon. The first film is The Wanted 18 on August 11, 6:30 pm at the Montgomery Center for the Arts. The Wanted 18, a humorous but very serious documentary that shows the ingenuity and power of grassroots activism under military occupation. Palestinians Dairy Farmers resort to hiding a herd of 18 dairy cows from Israeli security forces when the dairy collective was deemed a threat to Israel's national security.
